Destination ImagiNation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students to learn and experience creativity, teamwork and problem solving.  Every year, 100,000 students across the U.S. and in more than 30 countries participate in DI. Destination ImagiNation, the core program, is an exhilarating after-school activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together, and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and skills - they learn to unleash their imaginations and take unique approaches to problem solving.

Emma Aggeler along with five teammates worked together over the course of 8 weeks creating costumes, backdrops, a robot and one unbelievable story.  The team  presented at the southwest regional DI competition held at Escalante Middle school on March 20th and took 1st place!  The team will be traveling to Denver April 17 for the state DI competition.

Destination ImagiNation starts at the 4th grade level and continues through college!  Many DI students earn scholarships for school.  If your child is interested in the DI program you can contact your GT teacher at your school.
