Sunday Soccer Camps

Sunday Soccer Camps are a fantastic way for players to stay active and get extra touches on the ball. Camps are led by Hayley Hollenga, DRSC Director of Coaching and FLC Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach, along with other experienced coaches.

The goal of Sunday Soccer Camps is to provide players for the U9-U12 & U13-U19 age groups with additional opportunities to improve their technical ability through focused skill development and small-sided games. Each hour and a half session is structured in three parts:

• Part One: Ball mastery, passing, and shooting techniques

• Part Two: Game-like scenarios including 1v1s, 2v1s, 2v2s, and 3v2s to develop decision-making in both attacking and defending situations

• Part Three: Small-sided games ranging from 3v3 to 7v7

The best way to learn is to play. By finishing each session with games, players are encouraged to make decisions under pressure, increasing their awareness and ability to read the game. Throughout the camp, our coaches will emphasize DRSC’s five core values: character, commitment, work ethic, selflessness, and leadership.
